** A license is required in order to use CxJS for development of commercial software. We here at Codaxy have made it easier for all developers to get started with new projects by offering a free license for individuals and companies. A company will receive a free license for up to two developers employed. Startup businesses with less than 10 employees and annual revenue less than $100.000 will receive a free license for up to five developers.
In order to receive a free license you will need to register with us. Once you fill out the information required for the license, our team will review your request and follow up by issuing you a certificate that will allow you or your business to start using CxJS with a professional perpetual license. There are several ways of getting support. Use our public issue tracker on GitHub to report bugs and documentation issues. We will answer any questions related to CxJS on StackOverflow and help our developer community on Slack.

- Is a CxJS license a perpetual license?
- Yes, all licenses are perpetual. A perpetual license will allow the customer to use the licensed software perpetually.
- Does CxJS include support for developer?
- Yes, under the CxJS license you will get one year of Maintenance and Support before renewal. This includes live on-boarding support, priority and technical support.
- How many licenses should be purchased?
- After the initial free license for two developers, an additional purchasing of licenses is required when three or more developers are using CxJS.
- What are the terms and conditions for contractor licenses?
- Free licenses assigned to independent contractors cannot be used for developing of the software that is owned by another company. Owner of the license needs to be the company who owns the intellectual property rights to the software being developed, not the contractor.
- What do upgrades work?
- You're entitled to all new releases of CxJS within the Maintenance and Support subscription period. Maintenance and Support subscription period is initially set to one year, however, you can renew your subscription by purchasing it at our online store.
- Can a license be transferred from a developer to a developer?
- Yes, the license can be transferred from one developer to another developer within the same company. Keep in mind once the license is transferred that same license cannot be transferred again for a period of three months.
- What if I change my mind regarding CxJS?
- We offer full refund and your money back guarantee, three months after the initial purchase date.
